As a global leader in semiconductor innovation, ASE has long invested in environmental and social impact. To drive change with greater clarity and structure, the group established ASE Social Enterprise, channeling corporate resources into social innovation and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Thinkways developed the brand strategy and identity system, defining its positioning, architecture, and communication language to translate ASE’s sustainability vision into a tangible, coherent brand.

Brand Concept
Inspiring action through action
Unlike social enterprises that focus on a single issue, ASE Social Enterprise operates as a platform for connecting partners and accelerating collective impact. The tagline ACTIONS FOR ACTIONS reflects the idea of enabling action through support and collaboration. Centered on the core concept ACT, we defined three values—Achieve, Care, and Trust—as the cultural pillars guiding the brand and its team.

Logo Design & Application Design
A unifying identity built from “light”
The logo draws from ASE’s master brand, using the symbol of “light” combined with three converging arrows to represent integration and forward momentum. The color palette extends the parent brand’s green, orange, and yellow, expressed through a clean, contemporary form suited for a younger social-enterprise audience. Supporting graphics echo the imagery of “birds in flight,” symbolizing collective movement and shared progress.





Design Extension
Visualizing progress and positive action
Building on the arrow motif, we developed a system of “footstep” graphics to express practicality and momentum. A vibrant color system and bold compositions create an energetic visual tone across business cards, presentations, badges, packaging, and apparel—strengthening internal identity and communicating the brand’s action-driven spirit.
