Following Taiwan’s food-safety reform, consumers have become more discerning, fueling a wave of artisanal condiment brands. Yet many soy sauce labels remain tied to nostalgic, rural imagery. Thinkways partnered with YEASTMASTER to reposition the brand from a “seasoning product” to a tabletop luxury, blending traditional craft, modern processing, and contemporary aesthetics. This strategic shift allowed the brand to break through in a highly saturated market.

Brand Concept
A flavorful experience layered with culture
Today’s consumers expect condiments to embody both taste and design. YEASTMASTER elevates soy sauce into a “culinary showcase,” turning it into a centerpiece of gifting and dining. The Chinese tagline 「以詩入甕、以藝釀豆」 expresses the poetic union of craft and culture, while the English line “sophisticated taste” highlights refinement and depth. Together, they form a brand language that blends heritage, modern production, and aesthetic value.

Logo Design & Application Design
Distilling craftsmanship into a single drop
The name YEASTMASTER reflects dedication to time-honored craft. The logo combines three cues: a stylized Y, the merging of raw ingredients, and a certification-like check mark. The curved Y suggests the nuanced turns of fermentation and the artisan’s steady focus. The serif English lettering paired with Song-style Chinese typography communicates premium quality and cultural richness. The overall expression is clean, understated, and humanistic.




Package Design
Refined simplicity that holds the essence of flavor
Packaging uses generous white space to emphasize purity and quality. Ribbon-like motifs and droplet graphics extend from the logo, symbolizing brewing and extraction. Foil accents add a sense of movement and richness. Product lines are differentiated by color blocks, forming a systematic identity. Gift boxes employ textured papers, debossed slogans, and sauce-inspired patterns—subtle, layered, and crafted for both everyday use and premium gifting.
