A distinctive café within the city’s quiet alleys
In a market filled with diverse café styles, two sisters from Hong Kong sought to create a space in Taipei that balances clarity with quiet emotion. Thinkways shaped the brand from naming and identity to spatial concept—building a language for cafe noote where simplicity holds warmth, and everyday interactions feel gentle and fluid.

Brand Concept
Defining the brand through “subtle, flowing moments”
The concept centers on capturing the small but genuine moments of daily interaction. We translated the founders’ understated humor into a relaxed, minimal visual tone that forms cafe noote’s distinctive personality. Built on the values of simple, honest, and thoughtfully playful, the brand invites conversation through both space and design.



Logo Design & Application Design
A visual identity inspired by notes and open dialogue
“noote,” derived from note, represents a message or moment worth sharing. The two O’s become open circular forms—symbols of exchange and gentle movement. A grayscale base paired with vibrant blue and yellow accents balances calmness with energy. These dual circles extend across cards, cups, and signage as a flexible and cohesive identity system.





Space & Experience Design
Designing a sensory experience through motion and detail
The spatial design brings “flow” to life through movable seating and tiered structures, creating adaptable layouts. Wall texts and hand-written expressions echo the brand’s tone as small discoveries throughout the space. Scent bottles, flavor icons, and interactive info cards translate the brand spirit into tangible touchpoints, allowing guests to naturally understand cafe noote’s personality through experience.

More than a café, cafe noote offers a way to slow down and rediscover daily rhythms. By integrating brand strategy, identity, and spatial experience, Thinkways built a brand that is felt through details rather than declarations. The project strengthens recognition while presenting a thoughtful model for new café brands blending aesthetics with commercial clarity.
